Job Description

Carolina Precision Technologies, LLC is a leading precision manufacturer for the medical and aerospace industries, serving clients with implants, surgical instruments, cutting tools, and delivery systems.  We are currently seeking a CNC Swiss Screw Machine Setup/Programmer at our facility in Putnam, CT.


Responsibilities and Duties


  • Program and Operate CNC Swiss Screw Machines
  • Inspect parts according to print and in-process documentation
  • Clear chips and maintain a safe work environment

Requirements and Qualifications


  • 1 to 5 years of experience in a machine shop environment
  • Programming experience is a plus (Mastercam or Partmaker is ideal)
  • Proficient use of micrometers, gauging, and comparator tools
  • Familiarity with Citizen Machines is a plus
  • Skilled in blue print reading
  • High School Graduate or Equivalent
  • Proficiency in general math
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 50 pounds
