Job Title: CNC Programmer and Lathe Machinist

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Programmer and Lathe Machinist to join our team at Carolina Precision Technologies, LLC. The ideal candidate will have experience in a production environment and a strong understanding of CNC machine operation.



Responsibilities and Duties

  • Setup and program CNC lathes and/or turn/mills
  • Operate machines efficiently when not programming or in setup
  • Inspect parts per print and in process documentation
  • Clear chips and maintain a safe work environment


Qualifications and Skills

  • 1 to 5 years of experience in a machine shop environment
  • CAM software experience (Part Maker/Mastercam) is a plus
  • Proficient use of micrometers, gauging, and comparator
  • Familiarity with Eurotech machines and Fanuc controls is a plus
  • Skilled in blue print reading


Minimum Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Proficiency in general math
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs
