Job Opportunity: CNC Lathe Setup/Programmer

Carolina Precision Technologies, LLC is a leading manufacturer of precision components for the medical and aerospace industries. We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Lathe Setup/Programmer to join our team in Putnam, CT.

As a CNC Lathe Setup/Programmer, you will be responsible for efficiently setting up and programming CNC lathes, as well as operating machines when not programming or in setup. You will also inspect parts per print and in process documentation, clear chips, and maintain a safe work environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • 1-5 years of experience in a machine shop environment
  • CAM software experience (Part Maker/Mastercam) is a plus
  • Proficient use of micrometers, gauging, and comparator
  • Familiarity with Eurotech machines and Fanuc controls is a plus
  • Skilled blue print reading

Requirements:

  • High School Graduate or Equivalent
  • Proficiency in general math
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs
