Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of shipping documentation and ensuring goods are adequately packed and labeled for transport.
- Receiving and inspecting incoming materials, verifying shipments, and accurately entering data into the inventory management system.
- Conducting local pickups and deliveries as required.
- Ensuring compliance with U.S. and international shipping regulations, including trade laws.
- Utilizing the BE system for processing inventory transactions and managing shipments.
Essential Functions
- May operate and inspect powered industrial equipment.
- Manage material check-in and check-out processes using the BE System, with a focus on accuracy.
- Deliver materials to designated work areas as needed.
- Maintain the integrity of inventory records.
- Prepare products for shipment and load outgoing vehicles.
- Safely transfer boxed goods weighing up to 75 lbs with assistance.
- Operate material handling equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Move incoming shipments from the receiving area to storage and work locations, maintaining accurate location records.
- Participate in Hazardous Waste Training (RCRA) as mandated.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities
- Adhere to safety guidelines as outlined in the ORAFOL Americas Safety program, utilizing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain high standards of product quality in alignment with ORAFOL's Quality Program.
Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years in a related field.
Skills and Attributes:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Sound decision-making capabilities.
- Willingness to learn and share knowledge with others.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and more with assistance.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, pulling, climbing, and twisting.
