Housing Case Manager

We are seeking a skilled Housing Case Manager to join our team at Lifelong Health for All. The successful candidate will work with clients who are receiving housing assistance from KCRHA, providing supportive services to help them remain stable in their new housing placements.
Key Responsibilities- Build rapport with clients to identify their strengths and foster growth in self-sufficiency and resiliency.
- Work with clients to locate, refer, and support them in acquiring needed resources such as household items and personal needs.
- Provide ongoing support and assistance as needed for newly housed, formally chronically homeless clients in transition from housing instability to housing stabilization.
- Advocate for clients with property management to ensure successful housing placement and respond to property complaints, enquiries, and questions.
- Connect clients with health, mental health care, and substance use resources as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in a social services field or equivalent experience.
- Two years of experience in direct social service or advocacy work, including assessing client needs and determining client benefit eligibility.
- Proven experience working with marginalized populations, including chronic homelessness, past or current substance use/abuse, and ongoing mental health instability.
This position is based out of Seattle's Capitol Hill area and requires staff to be available to meet clients in the office setting or within their homes. All staff are required to provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination prior to hiring.
