About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Actuary Associate to join our Individual Life Insurance (ILI) Pricing area within the US Business Actuarial team. As a key member of the Pricing team, you will work closely with other members of the team, as well as other functions, to support the pricing, repricing, and profitability reporting of ILI products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a centralized pricing model under a controlled environment
  • Develop and maintain dedicated pricing models that cater to pricing-specific attributes and promote efficient interaction
  • Reduce external processes, standardize modeling practices, and enhance End-to-End (E2E) process automation
  • Test new functionality or updates made to the pricing model
  • Perform quarterly modeling and reporting of the profitability of new business
  • Conduct regulatory testing and prepare materials for state filings
  • Comply with risk and control frameworks, especially around model management
  • Support ad-hoc requests
Requirements
  • Enthusiastic, curious, and self-motivated individual
  • Ability to own/drive deliverables, manage time, and collaborate
  • Ability to independently design innovative solutions
  • Ability to grasp complex concepts and provide insightful analytics
  • Strong experience in AXIS, Python, or other programming languages
  • ASA designation preferred
  • Experience with life insurance a plus
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
