Job Summary

Fidelity Bank is seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Development Officer to join our team. As a key member of our commercial lending team, you will be responsible for developing and managing business banking relationships in accordance with our core values and business principles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve annual deposit, loan, and referral sales results.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, leveraging COIs and making prospecting calls to identify new business opportunities.
  • Interview potential loan customers and process loan requests, ensuring thorough credit analysis and risk assessment.
  • Create a Personal Business Development Plan for the designated area, including a prospect list of profitable business and retail relationships.
  • Partner closely with the Branch Manager to ensure consistent and quality relationship building and referral processes.
  • Represent the Bank within the community by developing and promoting additional business opportunities, serving as an officer with at least one community organization.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with 6 years of experience in commercial lending, credit, and business development or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of commercial lending, including the ability to evaluate cash flow and collateral.
  • Advanced financial analysis, strong credit underwriting, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential and proprietary information.
  • Excellent communication skills, oral and written.
  • Thorough understanding of loan laws and regulations.
