Requirements
  • Experience and Education: Previous experience in automotive sales or a related field is preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional sales training or certification is a plus.
  • Sales Skills: Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets. Strong negotiation and closing skills are essential.
  • Guest Service: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are necessary to build and maintain relationships with guests.
  • Product Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of automotive products and features is required. Ability to explain technical details and benefits to guests is essential.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to understand guest needs and provide suitable solutions is crucial. Competence in handling guest objections and concerns effectively is necessary.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong time management and multitasking abilities are required. Capability to manage paperwork and sales documentation accurately is essential.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with dealership management software and CRM tools is necessary. Ability to use digital tools and social media for sales activities is required.
  • Motivation and Drive: Self-motivation with a strong desire to succeed is essential. A positive attitude and enthusiasm for sales are necessary.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed is required. Adaptability to changing sales environments and guest needs is essential.
