About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Claim Operations Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for partnering with claim professionals to assist customers, building customer relationships, and completing financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Engagement: Serve as a customer service representative for the claim department, promptly and professionally addressing customer questions and concerns.
  • Claim Operational Service and Partnerships: Partner with claim professionals to assist with the timely resolution of claims, including documenting claim files, requesting reports and records, and reviewing medical bills and mail.
  • Claim Payments and Expense Processing: Ensure the proper handling of financial transactions, including processing and issuing claim payments, and processing and documenting returned checks and credits.
  • Data and Information Management: Maintain accurate records and information management, including preparing and generating reports, updating data discrepancies, and using management information data to prepare line of business or financial reports.
  • Financial Controls and Assessments: Assist with claim center financial standards, including performing underlying controls, communicating findings, and assessing the reasonableness of data and identifying discrepancies.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 year of service-related work experience or a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Skills: Ability to analyze and compare information, exercise sound judgment, and make decisions. Strong communication and relationship management skills.
