Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Parts Manager to join our team at New Holland Auto Group. As a key member of our parts department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our 7-OEM brand parts department, including forecasting parts needs, ordering parts, and maintaining optimal inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Forecasting and Ordering: Forecast parts needs and order parts to maintain optimal inventory levels, ensuring that our customers have access to the parts they need when they need them.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain the current parts inventory, ensuring that it is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Pricing and Receiving: Price parts to maintain profitability and receive parts, including placing them into inventory and properly labeling them.
  • Special Orders: Oversee special orders and ensure that they are processed efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with service managers, advisors, and technicians to ensure that all parts are available for repair jobs.
  • Staff Management: Hire, supervise, and train parts department staff members.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Prior parts management experience in a dealership is preferred.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with Reynolds & Reynolds is a plus.
  • Management and Inventory Experience: Management and parts inventory experience is required.
  • Skills: Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, positive and friendly attitude, excellent oral and written communication skills, and professional appearance and work ethic.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 pounds.
