Key Responsibilities
  • Assembly and Quality Control: Assemble electro-mechanical products, ensuring high-quality standards and zero scrap or rework.
  • Component Preparation and Inspection: Prepare, clean, and inspect components and assemblies, adhering to written work instructions and drawings.
  • Production Timelines and Inventory Management: Meet expected assembly timelines and assist with inventory cycle counting, notifying supervisors of low stock levels.
  • Safe Working Environment: Maintain a safe and clean working environment, complying with procedures, policies, and regulations.
  • Training and Development: Cross-train on various functions to provide flexibility and support across production operations, and train new employees on assembling components and products.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of working experience in a similar position, with optical fiber equipment assembly experience preferred.
  • Education: High school diploma or GED.
  • Specialized Knowledge and Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, strong communication skills, flexibility, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, and computer literacy with understanding of inventory management.
