Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physician to serve as the Residency Program Director in our Family Medicine department. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the educational programs and ensuring the quality of patient care and resident well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement educational programs aligned with the mission of Kheir Clinic.
  • Ensure compliance with ACGME and institutional requirements, including duty hours, clinical learning environment, and moonlighting.
  • Recruit, select, evaluate, and promote residents, while maintaining a diverse and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to provide high-quality patient care and education.
  • Monitor and improve program outcomes, including resident satisfaction and patient care quality.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders to enhance program visibility and opportunities.
Requirements
  • Valid California Provider License and Board Certification in Family Medicine.
  • First Aid/CPR certification and knowledge of nursing process and medical model.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership experience in a residency program or similar setting, with a proven track record of success.
  • Bilingual skills in English and Korean or Spanish preferred, but not required.
