Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior On-Site Service Specialist to join our team at Ricoh. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service and support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate high-volume duplicating, production, sorting, mailing, or bindery equipment, and perform associated copying tasks.
  • Ship and receive product and supplies, sort, distribute, and handle incoming and outgoing mail/faxes, and apply necessary postage.
  • Provide copier maintenance and/or repair of customer site equipment.
  • Perform bindery, QC, and final check, housekeeping, and other duties as assigned.
  • Run high-volume/production copy machines and perform binding and finishing work.
  • Ensure convenience copiers are working properly, checking for quality via daily inspections, and clear paper jams and inform technicians of specific problems.
  • Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and escalate calls to technicians.
  • Set up equipment as prescribed by the customer, including toner addition, stocking paper, etc.
  • Perform duties of scanning and/or imaging documents.
  • May perform reception services on a temporary/occasional basis.
  • Maintain records for management reports and inventories of supplies needed.
  • Distribute office supplies, fax transmissions, and mail to company personnel and/or designated drop-off points as required.
  • Calculate charges for jobs performed and maintain logs and may generate reports.
  • Respond to and coordinate all service calls required by customers.
  • May perform filing duties in conjunction with specific customer requests.
  • Deliver completed jobs to pre-determined customer locations within and outside of the site.
  • Maintain daily meter and service logs.
  • May travel between customer buildings.
  • Answer customer questions regarding status or feasibility of job requests.
  • Ensure upkeep of convenience copier areas by keeping neat and well-stocked.
  • Perform duties related to the shipping of materials.
  • Perform duties related to the receiving of materials.
  • May perform meeting room and conference room set-ups.
  • May perform building occupant moves within assigned facilities.
  • May perform light maintenance and cleaning duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Typically requires a high school diploma or GED and 1-2 years of experience or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Some related copy job experience is preferred.
  • May require a valid driver's license and minimum levels of auto insurance coverage per Ricoh policy.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Good PC skills.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
  • Mathematical and filing skills.
  • Ability to use office machines and technical equipment.
Working Conditions

Typically, an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation, and a normal range of temperature and noise level.

Work assignments are diversified. Interpret, comprehend, and apply complex material, data, and instruction – prepare, provide, and convey diversified information.

Some physical effort is required, which may involve long periods of standing, walking, bending, reaching, stretching, climbing, or similar activities, as well as lifting or moving items weighing up to 50-55 lbs. and in pushing or pulling machines on wheels, which may weigh up to 700 lbs., in order to move for repairs.

Walking between buildings may be necessary.

Moderate dexterity – regular application of basic skills (calculator, keyboard, hand tools, eye/hand coordination).
