Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced On-Site Service Specialist to join our team at Ricoh. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service and support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate high-volume duplicating, production, sorting, mailing, or bindery equipment to meet customer needs.
  • Perform associated copying tasks, including shipping and receiving product and supplies.
  • Sort, distribute, and handle incoming and outgoing mail/faxes, applying necessary postage.
  • Provide copier maintenance and repair services for customer site equipment.
  • Perform bindery, quality control, and final check tasks to ensure high-quality output.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Run high-volume/production copy machines and perform binding and finishing work.
  • Ensure convenience copiers are working properly, conducting daily inspections and clearing paper jams.
  • Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and escalate calls to technicians as needed.
  • Set up equipment according to customer specifications, including toner addition and paper stocking.
  • Scan and/or image documents as required.
  • Perform reception services on a temporary or occasional basis, as needed.
  • Maintain records for management reports and inventory supplies.
  • Distribute office supplies, fax transmissions, and mail to company personnel and designated drop-off points.
  • Calculate charges for jobs performed and maintain logs and generate reports.
  • Respond to and coordinate all service calls required by customers.
  • Perform filing duties in conjunction with specific customer requests.
  • Deliver completed jobs to pre-determined customer locations within and outside of the site.
  • Maintain daily meter and service logs.
  • Travel between customer buildings as needed.
  • Answer customer questions regarding job status or feasibility.
  • Ensure upkeep of convenience copier areas, keeping them neat and well-stocked.
  • Perform duties related to shipping and receiving materials.
  • May perform meeting room and conference room set-ups.
  • May perform building occupant moves within assigned facilities.
  • May perform light maintenance and cleaning duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 1-2 years of related work experience preferred.
  • Some related copy job experience is preferred.
  • May require a valid driver's license and minimum levels of auto insurance coverage per Ricoh policy.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Good PC skills.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
  • Mathematical and filing skills.
  • Ability to use office machines and technical equipment.
Working Conditions

Typically, an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation, and a normal range of temperature and noise level.

Work assignments are diversified, requiring the ability to interpret, comprehend, and apply complex material, data, and instruction.

Some physical effort is required, involving long periods of standing, walking, bending, reaching, stretching, climbing, or similar activities, as well as lifting or moving items weighing up to 50-55 lbs.
