Physician Assistant

As a Physician Assistant at KurzSolutions, you will provide primary and specialty medical care under the supervision of a physician. Your responsibilities will include providing immediate evaluation and management of emergent problems, collecting and recording medical and social historical data, and performing general physical examinations. You will also be responsible for managing the health and wellness of assigned patients, determining the need for consultation, and assisting in medical care and treatment provided by other specialists. Additionally, you will be responsible for approving or disapproving subspecialty referrals, answering patient telephone consults, and providing primary and secondary preventive maintenance care.
Responsibilities
- Provide primary and specialty medical care under the supervision of a physician
- Collect and record medical and social historical data
- Perform general physical examinations
- Manage the health and wellness of assigned patients
- Determine the need for consultation and assist in medical care and treatment provided by other specialists
- Approve or disapprove subspecialty referrals
- Answer patient telephone consults
- Provide primary and secondary preventive maintenance care
Requirements
- Graduate of a Physician Assistant Training Program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA)
- Certified as a Physician Assistant by the National Committee on Certification Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- At least 12 months of experience as a Physician Assistant within the last 36 months
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification by the American Heart Association (AHA)
