Position Overview:
Infosys Technologies is seeking a Technical Test Lead with expertise in Automation Testing. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a key authority and primary contact for developing test cases, test plans, monitoring, analysis, reporting, and troubleshooting.

You will be responsible for conducting essential tests, generating reports, and orchestrating the design and execution of tests to ensure outstanding results. Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree or its foreign equivalent from an accredited institution is required. Alternatively, three years of progressive experience in the specialty may be considered in lieu of each year of education.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in Information Technology, specifically in Software Testing, including Performance Testing and Engineering, Monitoring, Analysis, and proficient reporting and troubleshooting skills.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. and should be located within a reasonable commuting distance or be willing to relocate.
  • Proficiency in writing Test Cases, Test Plans, executing Test Scripts, reporting defects, and preparing Test Result reports is essential.
  • Strong experience with Selenium Automation, specifically Selenium WebDriver with Java.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Keyword-driven and Data-driven/BDD frameworks in Selenium WebDriver.
  • Understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and the complete Defect Life Cycle.
  • Experience in Manual, Integration, Regression, Functional, and System Testing using automation tools for web-based applications.
  • Knowledge of the Telecom Domain and e-commerce.
  • Competence in writing Test Cases using various design techniques.
  • Ability to prepare presentation documents and guidance materials on the automation framework.
  • Experience in preparing Requirement Traceability Matrices for test cases.
  • Capability to perform SIT/E2E progression/regression testing.
  • Skill in detecting bugs and classifying them based on severity and priority.
  • Proficiency in Jira/Qtest tools, along with knowledge of Selenium/Java/Cucumber and TestNG/Robot Framework.
  • Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies, including Jira, GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins for test planning, development, execution, and defect management.
  • Contribution to Agile ceremonies, identifying gaps, defining, and streamlining processes, and translating business requirements into test strategies and test cases.
  • Excellent client liaison skills for leading and managing the Performance Testing and Engineering track.
  • Coordination with multi-vendor teams for performance defect tracking, analysis, and resolution.
  • Strong communication and client interfacing skills, with the ability to collaborate closely with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience in leading and managing teams across onshore and offshore locations.
