The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive school counseling services to middle and high school students, promoting academic, career, and personal/social development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive school counseling program aligned with ASCA standards
  • Provide individual and group counseling services to students, addressing academic, career, and personal/social concerns
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to support student success
  • Utilize data to inform program development and implementation
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to promote student success
Requirements
  • Master's degree in School Counseling
  • S-5 certification in school counseling (S-6 or S-7 preferred)
  • Two years of experience in counseling students as individuals and in groups
  • Ability to plan, implement, and evaluate a guidance and counseling program
  • Proven skill in counseling/advising individuals and groups
Working Conditions

The School Counselor will work in a normal office environment, with routine physical activity associated with a typical office setting.
