Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Attorney Advisor to provide expert level counsel to senior contracting personnel regarding the formation, negotiation, administration, and termination of contracts and other legal agreements under applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal advice and opinions concerning Foreign Military Sales, public-private partnerships, intellectual property, and large-scale depot maintenance activities.
  • Render reviews, opinions, decisions, and actions in accordance with statutory and decisional law, and Government directives, regulations, and procedures in all areas of Federal contract and fiscal law.
  • Review pre- and post-award contract documentation for legal sufficiency and business judgment.
  • Apply superior analysis and communication skills to research, identify, and interpret statutes, decisions, and Government regulations.
  • Advocate for the Air Force with Congressional delegates and other personnel at all levels of the Federal Government.

Requirements:
  • Must be currently licensed as an attorney and counselor at law in a state or territory of the United States, the District of Columbia, or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
  • Must be a graduate from an accredited law school and admission to the bar of a state or territory of the United States, the District of Columbia, or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • At least three years of federal procurement law experience is highly desired.
