Position Overview
As the Lead Technology Training Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and delivering comprehensive technology training programs for staff across The Arc and its affiliated entities. This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to identify training needs, create educational materials, and assess the effectiveness of training initiatives using adult learning methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement technology-focused training sessions tailored to the diverse needs of employees.
- Collaborate with department leaders to create customized training solutions that align with operational goals.
- Produce user-friendly guides, informational documents, and quick-reference materials to support training efforts.
- Facilitate engaging training experiences both in-person and online, incorporating hands-on demonstrations.
- Evaluate and enhance the technology utilization within departments, ensuring optimal performance.
- Maintain a roadmap for technical training that addresses evolving organizational needs.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED, along with a minimum of four years of experience in technical training and curriculum design. A bachelor’s degree in instructional technology or a related discipline is highly desirable. Experience in delivering training to a multigenerational audience is advantageous. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Office 365 is essential, and the ability to quickly learn new technology systems is crucial.
