About the PositionWe are seeking a seasoned Vendor Relations Manager to drive the development of strategic partnerships with key vendors, ensuring seamless collaboration and maximizing business value.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partnership Development:
- Establishing and maintaining strong, positive relationships with key vendors.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for all vendor communications and inquiries.
- Pricing Strategy:
- Negotiating competitive pricing and contract terms.
- Monitoring market trends to ensure favorable pricing.
- Compliance and Governance:
- Ensuring all vendor-related processes adhere to company policies and industry standards.
- Maintaining up-to-date documentation and submitting it promptly.
- Issue Resolution:
- Effectively addressing and resolving vendor issues or disputes.
- Working with internal teams to find solutions that meet the needs of both parties.
- Performance Evaluation:
- Conducting regular assessments of vendor performance and providing constructive feedback.
- Implementing KPIs to measure and track vendor effectiveness.
Requirements include demonstrated experience as a Vendor Relations Manager or similar role, strong negotiation and communication skills, solid understanding of best practices in vendor management, and proven ability to build and sustain positive relationships with various stakeholders.
