Job Title: Accounting Supervisor

Join Hendrick Automotive Group as an Accounting Supervisor and take on a challenging role that requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail. As an Accounting Supervisor, you will be responsible for assisting in the reconciliation of G/L accounts and monthly financial close. You will also assist in managing the accounting, bookkeeping, and general office procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of G/L, A/P, and Inventory, including reconciliation of schedules
  • Assist in General Ledger maintenance
  • Perform other general office duties as needed
  • Maintain CSI at or above company standards
  • Ensure that necessary controls are in place to safeguard dealership assets
  • Assist in training and supervising office staff
  • Reinforce company policies and adhere to company standards
  • Encourage compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Assist in preparation of annual budget
  • Ensure that annual external audit requirements are met
  • Maintain effective employee relations
  • Promote and maintain good ESI
Requirements:
  • Ability to interpret, understand, and follow instructions and solve problems
  • Ability to deal effectively with customers and dealership personnel
  • Strong organizational skills
