We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dietary Supervisor to join our team at Homestead Estates of Leawood. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our residents receive high-quality meals that meet their dietary needs and preferences.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and implement menus in consultation with our dietician, taking into account seasonal and local food availability, as well as resident preferences.
- Supervise and train cooks and dietary aides to ensure that meals are prepared according to our standards.
- Ensure that all meals are served to residents according to physician's orders and that kitchen equipment is clean and in working order.
- Manage inventory and supplies, and maintain accurate accounting records.
- Participate in care plan meetings and ensure that dietary services are aligned with resident care plans.
- Comply with all State and Federal regulations, including infection control and food safety protocols.
- Ability to cook for large groups and manage kitchen operations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation protocols.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive resident information.
