The CAS Oil and Gas Accounting Services team specializes in providing accounting and financial reporting services for Upstream Oil and Gas Operators, Investors, and Royalty Portfolios. They leverage their deep understanding of industry requirements and stakeholder needs to deliver outstanding services through continuous process improvements and technological advancements.

The primary responsibility of the Senior Manager, Oil & Gas, is to offer accounting and financial management services to our clients by delivering precise, timely, and valuable financial records. You will be tasked with preparing financial statements, monitoring information related to our clients' key performance indicators, and providing strategic advice and insights.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all phases of planning and managing large and complex outsourced accounting engagements.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior executives in client organizations, delivering client service at the highest level.
  • Implement client service processes for each of your accounts; ensure adherence to processes and controls.
  • Configure software to align with the client's business processes.
  • Maintain the confidentiality and independence of client relationships.
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency and commitment to quality and timely completion of duties.
  • Effectively understand and diagnose client issues.
  • Maintain active communication to manage expectations and ensure client satisfaction.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a specialized field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.

A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience is required; prior experience in the upstream oil and gas industry and consulting is highly preferred, along with at least five (5) years of supervisory experience.

Demonstrated management, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project management, and communication skills are essential, along with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel).

An exceptional leader with a proven ability to motivate, inspire, and elevate team performance is crucial.

Capability to break down scope into detailed activities and deliverables is necessary.

Willingness to travel to client sites as needed and work outside of normal business hours due to client demands is required.
