Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to direct the maintenance activities of our organization. The successful candidate will be accountable for the seamless functioning of all machinery and equipment, ensuring a safe and operational environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the daily functions of the maintenance department.
  • Assess systems or facilities to identify necessary maintenance or repairs.
  • Develop and implement maintenance protocols and ensure adherence.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to detect and rectify issues.
  • Supervise all repair and installation tasks.
  • Monitor expenditures and manage the maintenance budget effectively.
  • Lead maintenance personnel, distributing workloads and providing training as needed.
  • Foster positive working relationships within the department and across other departments.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Planner to revise preventative maintenance and repair schedules as required.
  • Negotiate contracts and maintain relationships with vendors and service providers.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, addressing unsafe conditions and conducting investigations as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience as a maintenance manager or in a comparable position.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to recognize issues and determine required repairs.
  • Capability to devise maintenance schedules for building systems.
  • Strong management and supervisory expertise.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite or similar applications.
Educational Background:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in business administration or facility management is advantageous.
