Job Summary:
The Department of Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks a highly skilled and experienced Colorectal Surgeon to join our team as an Assistant Professor in the non-tenure clinician educator track. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the specific area of colon and rectal surgery and a strong commitment to teaching and clinical excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care for patients presenting with colorectal concerns
- Teach and mentor medical students, surgery residents, and colorectal surgery fellows
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical and didactic educational programs
- Participate in research and scholarship activities related to colorectal surgery
- Collaborate with other faculty members to advance the department's clinical and research missions
Requirements:
- MD or MD/PhD degree or equivalent
- Certification by the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery or foreign equivalent
