OBGYN, Maternal Fetal Medicine Clinic, Womens Health Research Center

Under general supervision and in accordance with established policies and procedures, this role provides a range of specialized services to support the operational functions of the assigned clinic.

The responsibilities include checking in scheduled and walk-in patients, managing telephone communications, and entering demographic and billing information into the system.

This position also involves checking patients out of the clinic and performing necessary follow-up actions. Additional clerical duties may include handling the collection, deposit, and reconciliation of clinic revenue. The role requires providing assistance and responding to patient inquiries at the Self Check-In Kiosk based on clinic needs. Consistently delivering exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, physicians, and staff is essential.

Position Qualifications:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of one (1) year of customer service experience is required. Coursework in Business Office Education or related fields is preferred.

Essential Skills:
(1) Attend all mandatory training sessions as assigned by management; (2) possess foundational knowledge of medical terminology and advanced proficiency in PC applications, software, and database management; (3) demonstrate mathematical and bookkeeping capabilities; (4) exhibit exceptional telephone and customer service skills; and (5) have a strong command of English grammar and punctuation. A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Attributes such as customer service orientation, computer proficiency, multitasking ability, and adaptability to change are highly valued.

Must be able to stand for extended periods while assisting at the Self Check-In Kiosks.
