Position Overview:

As a vital member of our team, you will engage with clients to address inquiries related to specimen collection, submission, and pathology results. Your expertise in problem-solving and effective communication will ensure that our clients feel valued and supported.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and resolve laboratory-related issues to maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Handle incoming calls and make outbound calls to clients professionally and promptly, aiming to enhance business relationships and client retention.
  • Clearly and accurately communicate patient results to clients, ensuring compliance with established policies.
  • Proactively contact clients to gather and verify essential patient and insurance information, including:
    • Missing data related to patient requisitions and insurance details.
    • Patient demographics and clinical history.
    • Billing types and specimen descriptions.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource for clients regarding laboratory services, testing requirements, and turnaround times.
  • Coordinate specimen pickups and distribution of laboratory supplies as needed.
  • Assist in maintaining quality assurance and compliance by documenting client concerns and resolutions.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience.

Experience:

  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience in customer service or client relations.
