Event Sales Coordinator

We are in search of an enthusiastic Catering Sales Manager. The ideal candidate will exhibit a true passion for the hospitality sector and possess an entrepreneurial mindset.
Position Overview
The Catering Sales Manager collaborates closely with the Catering, Food & Beverage, and Brand divisions, ensuring that catering operations are well-organized and effective. This role encompasses the preparation prior to events, including BEO preparation, client relations, and internal communications, as well as being present during events and ensuring that all administrative tasks are completed accurately and promptly following the event's conclusion.
The Catering Sales Manager should demonstrate excellent communication abilities, conflict resolution skills, and a comprehensive understanding of LINE policies, procedures, and expectations.
Due to the variable demands of the organization, it may be necessary for each employee to undertake a variety of tasks; thus, as a crucial aspect of your role, you will be expected to assist colleagues when required, just as they will assist you. Consequently, you may be called upon to perform additional duties as needed or as directed. Flexibility in adjusting your schedule to meet business needs is essential, which may include working early, late, and on weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet and surpass budgeted revenue targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Evaluate and estimate the total value of each business opportunity, negotiating optimal conditions to maximize hotel revenue while ensuring outstanding customer service.
- Transform existing accounts into repeat business and revenue sources.
- Generate new accounts through proactive prospecting, networking, participation in industry events, client entertainment, and sales outreach.
- Continuously assess industry and competitor trends (pricing, packaging, and services) and provide insights to Hotel Leadership.
- Work in tandem with Culinary, Banquet Management, and Restaurant Teams to guarantee flawless event execution.
- Effectively communicate all event details to relevant departments in a professional, thorough, and timely manner using Resumes, Event Orders, and internal correspondence.
- Ensure that events meet customer expectations by regularly following up on event status, inspecting function rooms, greeting clients, and adjusting to meet evolving customer needs, coordinating with external vendors as necessary, conducting post-event reviews with clients, and encouraging re-bookings from planners.
- Facilitate pre-conference meetings with clients and key hotel personnel.
- Participate in relevant meetings.
- Maintain accurate documentation of events (contracts, billing, event orders, etc.).
- Be knowledgeable about all safety and emergency protocols, including OSHA requirements.
