The Corporate Engineer will be instrumental in providing both technical and managerial guidance across all Midwestern Pet Foods' facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Offer professional oversight in project management, engineering, and maintenance activities.
  • Project Development: Plan, develop, and execute capital projects and enhancements to facilities.
  • Project Introduction: Manage the rollout of new initiatives across all company locations.
  • Budget Management: Propose and monitor project costs in alignment with allocated budgets.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and define projects aimed at enhancing facility operations.
  • Project Coordination: Oversee the technical and managerial aspects of projects, including collaboration with contractors and equipment suppliers.
  • Performance Optimization: Redirect efforts on underperforming projects to achieve targeted outcomes.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure that all projects adhere to safety, food safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Post-Installation Review: Conduct audits after project completion, assess financial metrics, and document insights for future enhancements.
  • Design Modifications: Initiate changes to improve machinery efficiency and reduce costs, while expanding the capabilities of existing equipment.
  • Training: Ensure that all personnel are adequately trained on new equipment and updated procedures.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year of engineering experience or a 4-year degree in a related field.
  • Proficiency in CAD software.
