Overview of the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented IT Support Technician who is passionate about technology and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver first-line technical support to users through various channels, addressing issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical challenges associated with operating systems and applications.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and updates on IT systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Set up and manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across different platforms.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of support requests and solutions, while creating and updating technical documentation.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware components as needed.
  • Assist in network management tasks, including performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Provide training and guidance to end-users on software applications and IT best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years in IT support or a comparable role, with a strong grasp of Windows and macOS environments.
  • Proficient in diagnosing hardware and software issues, with familiarity in common IT tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a knack for critical thinking.
  • Strong communication skills, able to convey technical information to non-technical users effectively.
  • Demonstrated commitment to high-quality customer service and teamwork.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Slack, Office 365, Okta, and Entra.
  • Understanding of system security principles and best practices.
