Job Overview

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the annual financial planning process and preparation of budget documentation for InterMed.
  • Establish a dynamic quarterly and multi-year forecasting framework, aligned with the principles of the annual budgeting cycle.
  • Support the Director of Finance and Controller, along with departmental leaders, in analyzing discrepancies between actual performance and budgeted figures; spearhead the creation of a monthly "Management Discussion & Analysis" report for leadership review.
  • Lead and execute all calculations related to both shareholder and non-shareholder provider compensation matters.
  • Conduct assessments regarding physician productivity and any associated incentive compensation calculations.
  • Ensure compliance with all compensation policies, maintaining organized documentation.
  • Collaborate with the Benefits Administrator to track compensation variations due to employee leaves.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of patient privacy rights in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Uphold strict confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA guidelines and InterMed's policies.
  • Perform additional tasks that support the mission, vision, and values of InterMed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related discipline, coupled with three years of relevant experience; or a combination of education and experience.
  • Preferred experience with Microsoft SQL.
  • Experience with Prophix FP&A and budgeting systems is advantageous.
  • Background in healthcare and private practice physician groups is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Sage accounting software is a plus.
  • Exhibit a high level of integrity and reliability, with a focus on urgency and results.
  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering effective working relationships.
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues to meet the needs of physicians and management effectively.
  • Demonstrated discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Exhibit strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
