This role is pivotal in ensuring the effective definition, execution, and delivery of intricate programs that necessitate collaboration across various functions and interdependencies among a series of projects and related activities. This is achieved while adhering to constraints of scope, quality, time, and budget, all under conditions that may involve multiple moderate-probability, moderate-impact risk factors. The position involves managing a matrix team of employees and contractors who participate in project teams and departmental work groups to realize a unified benefit.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with leadership to form project teams and work groups to generate deliverables essential for achieving the objectives of a specified corporate program. Guide project managers and work group leaders in crafting and sustaining comprehensive plans for the defined corporate program. Organize, lead, and coordinate cross-functional efforts to align corporate resources towards the successful delivery and implementation of desired outcomes for a defined corporate program or strategic initiative. Partner with the executive sponsor of a corporate program (VP or higher) and other management as necessary to fulfill the objectives of the defined corporate program. Attain a thorough understanding of the business goals for the assigned area. Oversee and assess the progress, alignment, and financial viability of a cross-functional collection of projects and related activities that together constitute a defined corporate program. Initiate corrective actions as necessary to uphold the program's integrity. If needed, report to the executive team/sponsor/steering committee regarding the progress, business implications, and strategies surrounding the program(s). Identify risks that could hinder the successful realization of the desired outcomes of a program, devise risk mitigation strategies and tactics, and execute risk mitigation plans. As required, collaborate with procurement to formulate and implement strategies related to service/asset contracts. As necessary, manage vendors in accordance with the responsibilities outlined in the contract and statement of work. Perform other duties as assigned or requested.Educational Qualifications
