Job Summary:

As a Youth Advocate with Youth Advocate Programs, Inc., you will play a vital role in serving youth and families throughout Harris County. This part-time, hourly position requires a dependable and committed individual who can serve as a positive role model for youth in the community, school, and home settings.

The primary responsibilities of this role include initiating, organizing, planning, developing, and implementing direct advocacy services to assigned participants and their families. All service plans will be based on a strength-based approach using the wrap-around model.

Key Responsibilities:

Initiate, organize, plan, develop, and implement direct advocacy services to assigned participants and their families

Develop and implement individualized service plans based on a strength-based approach using the wrap-around model

Provide support and guidance to youth and families in achieving their goals and overcoming challenges

Collaborate with community resources and agencies to ensure comprehensive support for youth and families

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required

Experience in community work and knowledge of community resources

Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current automobile insurance coverage
