Job Overview

RETTEW, a prominent engineering consulting firm, is on the lookout for a motivated and client-oriented Civil Engineer to enhance our Municipal Team in the capacity of a Drinking Water/Wastewater Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with our team to design, develop, and oversee various projects related to drinking water and wastewater treatment systems.
  • Plan and manage extensive multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects in the water and wastewater sector.
  • Lead project design teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality projects within established timelines and budgets.
  • Effectively communicate project details to clients and regulatory bodies.
  • Participate in marketing events and networking functions.
  • Act as the primary liaison for our Authority and Municipal clients.
  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resources to guarantee successful project execution.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical reports, specifications, and drawings.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to verify compliance with project specifications.
  • Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Wastewater Process Engineering, Biological Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Possession of a Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the design and management of drinking water and wastewater treatment projects.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, including budget, schedule, and resource management.
  • Strong technical expertise with a proven track record in leading and delivering projects.
  • Experience in representing municipal and/or authority clients.
  • A passion for managing and mentoring staff and sub-consultants.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively with clients and team members.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards.
