RETTEW, a prominent engineering consulting firm, is on the lookout for a motivated and client-oriented Civil Engineer to enhance our Municipal Team in the capacity of a Drinking Water/Wastewater Project Manager.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with our team to design, develop, and oversee various projects related to drinking water and wastewater treatment systems.
- Plan and manage extensive multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects in the water and wastewater sector.
- Lead project design teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality projects within established timelines and budgets.
- Effectively communicate project details to clients and regulatory bodies.
- Participate in marketing events and networking functions.
- Act as the primary liaison for our Authority and Municipal clients.
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resources to guarantee successful project execution.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports, specifications, and drawings.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to verify compliance with project specifications.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Wastewater Process Engineering, Biological Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Possession of a Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the design and management of drinking water and wastewater treatment projects.
- Demonstrated project management skills, including budget, schedule, and resource management.
- Strong technical expertise with a proven track record in leading and delivering projects.
- Experience in representing municipal and/or authority clients.
- A passion for managing and mentoring staff and sub-consultants.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively with clients and team members.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards.
