Job Title: Senior Water Resources Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Water Resources Engineer to join our team at Whitman, Requardt & Associates, LLP.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will work on hydrologic/hydraulic (H/H) studies and drainage, stormwater management (SWM) and erosion/sediment control (ESC) design primarily for transportation projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct hydrologic/hydraulic studies and design drainage, stormwater management systems, and erosion/sediment control measures.
  • Develop environmental permit and contract documents.
  • Perform quality control/peer reviews and provide marketing and business development support.
  • Mentor and develop engineering staff.
Requirements:
  • B.S.C.E with a minimum of 15 years of hydrology/hydraulics/drainage/SWM/ESC design experience.
  • Licensed as a Pennsylvania Registered Professional Engineer.
  • Experience designing drainage, stormwater management systems/BMP's, erosion and sediment pollution controls.
  • Strong knowledge of PennDOT/PA Turnpike specifications, policies, and procedures.
  • Experience with H/H design software and MicroStation CADD software.
