Job Title: Senior Water Resources Engineer

At Whitman, Requardt & Associates, we are committed to delivering high-quality projects and fostering a collaborative work environment.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Water Resources Engineer to join our team in Mechanicsburg, PA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hydrology and hydraulic studies, as well as experience with stormwater management and erosion control design.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting hydrologic and hydraulic studies and designing drainage and stormwater management systems
  • Preparing contract documents and environmental permits
  • Providing quality control and peer reviews
  • Supporting marketing and business development efforts
  • Mentoring and developing engineering staff

Requirements include a B.S.C.E. degree, a minimum of 15 years of experience in hydrology and hydraulic design, and licensure as a Pennsylvania Registered Professional Engineer. Experience with PennDOT projects is required, and experience with the PA Turnpike or PA municipalities is a plus.
