Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Executive to join our team at UnitedHealthcare. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for identifying and developing business opportunities with small business customers in the assigned geographic area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business growth and revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with small business customers and brokers/consultants.
  • Provide expert consultative services to customers, including product knowledge and market analysis.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including cross-selling and upselling existing customers.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement sales plans and strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of sales or account management experience, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Ability to understand underwriting, financial, and analytical details.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
  • Health insurance sales experience and knowledge of industry trends and developments.
