Position Summary:

The Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) plays a vital role in supporting various research initiatives within a designated practice area. This position involves executing fundamental clinical and administrative tasks, including the collection and management of data. The CRC ensures that all research activities comply with regulatory standards and clinical protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Evaluate patient eligibility for studies, gathering necessary medical history and health information as per research protocols.
  2. Extract clinical data from medical records and charts.
  3. Conduct clinical and administrative tasks essential for the research protocol, such as measuring vital signs and completing regulatory documentation.
  4. Monitor participant safety, documenting any adverse reactions and coordinating with the principal investigator as needed.
  5. Maintain institutional review board documentation, including submissions and safety updates.
  6. Facilitate recruitment efforts for studies, including referrals and database management.
  7. Organize patient appointments and coordinate necessary testing with relevant departments.
  8. Prepare and manage study samples for analysis and distribution.
  9. May oversee tracking of study-related income.
  10. Participate in investigator meetings and contribute to the development of new research proposals.
  11. Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a BA/BS degree along with a minimum of two years of relevant experience in clinical research. Preferred certifications include CRCC, CCRA, or CCRP. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Work Environment:

This position requires full-time onsite work, with a standard schedule from Monday to Friday.
