Sales Development Specialist

As a Field Sales Professional with The Avers Agency, you will be responsible for driving new business opportunities and nurturing relationships in the Greater Minneapolis area. This role requires a self-motivated individual who can excel in a dynamic environment and deliver results.
Main Responsibilities- Identify and prospect new B2B clients through networking, cold calling, and referrals to expand our client base.
- Conduct needs assessments to comprehend client requirements and present tailored solutions that meet their needs.
- Maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in client organizations to foster long-term partnerships.
- Implement our proven system to create a self-sustaining referral stream that generates consistent business opportunities.
- Keep a list of important clients up-to-date to ensure ongoing relationship development and growth.
- Collaborate with the sales team to enhance sales and communication skills, driving individual and team success.
- Prior experience in direct sales, outside sales, leadership, or business-to-business sales is preferred but not required.
- Able to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks to achieve goals.
- Be teachable, coachable, and committed to continuous growth and development within your career.
- Ambitious and goal-oriented, with a proven ability to meet deadlines and exceed expectations.
- An active insurance license or willingness and ability to obtain upon hire.
- Demonstrate exceptional social, verbal, and negotiating abilities to build strong relationships and close deals.
We offer a competitive estimated salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience, based on industry standards and location. In addition to a competitive salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
