We are seeking a highly skilled Program Supervisor to join our Clinical Trials Office team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing internal auditing and educational activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and promoting a culture of quality and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee internal audits and ensure timely submission of reports to principal investigators and CTO leadership.
Develop and implement educational programs for clinical research staff, including orientation and training on regulatory requirements and best practices.
Collaborate with the CTO medical director to develop and implement faculty orientation processes.
Supervise staff responsible for FDA submissions, including IND safety reports, for Investigator-Initiated trials where NYU holds the IND.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, preferably in business administration or life sciences. At least 6 years of experience in oncology clinical research operations, including regulatory and data management experience, is required. 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance is also necessary. You will need to have a full understanding of clinical research data management functions, as well as federal regulations governing the conduct of clinical trials. Proficiency in using various Microsoft Office applications is also required.
Preferred Qualifications:
A Master's degree in business management or life sciences is preferred. 8 years of experience with oncology clinical research auditing and implementation of corrective action plans, as well as experience with FDA audits, is also preferred. You will need to be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization and have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
