Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee the planning and organizing of health promotion activities at our health center site. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing outreach strategies to address health insurance disparities within the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and develop outreach activities to promote health insurance enrollment and address health disparities
  • Interface with DOHMH Article 28 program directors and community-based partners to promote integration of health literacy and enrollment
  • Conduct community outreach and canvassing to develop new partnerships and promote agency services
  • Work with the NYC Mayor's Public Engagement Unit to develop and implement off-site enrollment activities
  • Represent the agency at various meetings and events
  • Administer the program's health insurance enrollment activities and monitor client enrollment
  • Evaluate the quality and effectiveness of services provided to community residents
Requirements
  • Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university
  • Four years of satisfactory, full-time community liaison, community organization, or community relations experience
  • At least two years of experience in a broad administrative or policy-making capacity with responsibility for planning, organizing, coordinating, developing, evaluating, and/or administering a large community service program or activity
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working directly with individuals from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds
  • Experience working with community-based organizations
  • Experience in conducting outreach and making presentations
  • Experience in supervising staff and training staff
