Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Engineer to join our Gen AI Security Test Architecture team. As a Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing security testing approaches for Gen AI products and platforms. You will work closely with technical and leadership teams across all of Target Tech to identify and mitigate security risks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design test approaches to Gen AI products and platforms to identify security flaws
  • Conduct full-stack architecture review of software for Gen AI products and platforms
  • Be a subject matter expert on information security for Gen AI systems and applications in cloud/vendor and on-prem environments
  • Proficiently discuss AI/ML with our data science and ML teams as we identify and develop solutions for security issues
  • Design security reference architectures and implementing/configuring security controls with an emphasis on Gen AI technologies
  • Efficiently assess and communicate risk accurately while negotiating priorities with cross-domain stakeholders
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to perform advanced security analysis on complex Gen AI systems, identifying gaps while contributing to design solutions and security requirements
Requirements
  • 4-year degree OR equivalent work experience
  • Polyglot programmer comfortable in many languages across different platforms
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity
  • Demonstrated curiosity and ability to learn
  • Proficiency with AI/ML concepts and technologies
  • Demonstrated ability (expertise preferred) in attacking Gen AI products and platforms
  • Seeks out cross-team collaboration opportunities
  • Stays current on relevant AI and Cyber Engineering technologies with self-directed learning
  • Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills with strong presentation abilities
  • Good understanding of security management workflows in large enterprise organizations and complex environments
  • Has a good understanding of the current threat landscape and the challenges that most organizations are facing
