Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented Senior Mechanical Systems Engineer to become a vital part of our organization. In this role, you will focus on the design and execution of mechanical systems specifically tailored for refrigeration in both commercial and industrial settings. Collaborate with the Engineering Director and contribute significantly to diverse engineering projects.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engineering expertise for refrigeration systems across industrial and commercial sectors
  • Evaluate and endorse engineering schematics
  • Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD/BIM models
  • Support the development of bids and proposals
  • Conduct system calculations and perform thermodynamic evaluations
  • Establish specifications and standards for refrigeration systems
  • Guide and mentor junior engineering staff
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 7-10 years of experience in refrigeration system design
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification in New England states is preferred
  • Proficient in CAD software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively
