Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing and Sales Support Specialist to join our team at LANXESS Americas. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing marketing and sales support for product portfolio development in the North American markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide market intelligence, key account, distribution, and territory management for Industrial Water Treatment (IWT) segment development.
  • Develop and present marketing plans and budgets, working closely with the Business Unit Head and other Segment Managers.
  • Understand key market drivers, adapt marketing strategies, and maintain a good understanding of new product developments and market trends to gain a competitive advantage.
  • Prepare sales and marketing analysis reports for the Business Segment IWT, as well as plans for increasing market share, growth, and competition analysis.
  • Update and amend distribution and agency agreements, including pricing, coordination with the legal department, and supplying necessary documents to support the business.
  • Coordinate and support internal processes, such as monthly rolling forecasts, customer care concepts, CRM changes implementation, and internal technical trainings.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Experience developing, reviewing, and presenting marketing and financial reports.
  • Strong skills in project management, planning, organizing, negotiations, coordinating, and innovation.
  • Ability to self-manage to meet tight deadlines, product shortages, or customer requests.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, SAP, Lotus Notes, and April Star.
  • General understanding of regulatory and product safety information and how it relates to the product and business segment.
