Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the planning, direction, and provision of mental health services, ensuring adherence to established guidelines while managing resources effectively.
2. Develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to the needs of offenders with mental health challenges or other specialized requirements.
3. Supervise and assess the performance of staff, ensuring competency and efficiency; provide recommendations for hiring and necessary corrective actions.
4. Offer clinical oversight for the program and staff, which includes reviewing clinical documentation and maintaining confidentiality in accordance with relevant regulations and standards.
5. Monitor inmate participation during program activities, providing support in response to their needs and assisting in the resolution of grievances.
Qualifications:
+ A Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related discipline from an accredited institution is mandatory.
+ A minimum of two years of experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is essential.
+ Preferred candidates will have post-graduate clinical experience in a similar role.
+ Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT is required.
+ Candidates must exhibit advanced knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of mental health standards and practices.
+ A valid driver's license is necessary.
+ Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
