Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Territory Representative to join our team at Chroma Technology Corp. As a Sales Territory Representative, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with end-users and distributors within a defined geographic region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain distribution networks within the territory
  • Provide training and support to distributors within the territory
  • Monitor competitor products, sales, and marketing activities within the territory
  • Manage direct sales of product within the territory, including developing a market presence in areas without existing resellers or distributors
  • Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners within the territory
  • Represent the company at trade association meetings, as needed
  • Build on current relationships to gain access to new partners and customers within the territory
  • Assist other departments within the organization to prepare manuals and technical publications
  • Prepare periodic sales reports covering sales, orders, and pipeline for the territory

Requirements:

  • Degree in life sciences or technical discipline related to imaging
  • 3+ years of experience in the field of life science imaging sales, preferably including both distribution and direct customer sales
  • Experience setting up and working with advanced imaging systems
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to analyze and resolve problems
  • Ability to work effectively with all individuals/groups within the organization
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
