Patient Care Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team at DaVita. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients with end-stage renal disease. Your primary responsibility will be to assist our registered nurses in delivering high-quality patient care, ensuring the comfort and well-being of our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including vital sign monitoring, medication administration, and wound care.
- Assist with dialysis treatments, including setting up and operating dialysis machines.
- Monitor patients' condition and report any changes or concerns to the registered nurse.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to work a full-time variable schedule with rotating Saturday shifts.
- Must be comfortable working around blood and needles.
- Must be comfortable mixing acid or bicarb.
- Physical and mental ability to work long hours (some shifts are 12+ hours) on your feet.
