UHC Patient Care Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team at UHC United Hospital Center. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in coordination with licensed medical staff.
Key Responsibilities- Observe and report patient concerns and changes in condition to a registered nurse immediately.
- Assist with admission, transfer, discharge, and general patient care duties.
- Record vital signs, assist with personal hygiene, and provide patient comfort measures.
- Assist with specimen collection and other patient care activities.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment to prevent and control infections.
- Report equipment repairs to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
- Prepare patients for examinations and diagnostic procedures.
- Communicate with RN regarding nutrition issues.
- Assist with administrative tasks to support department operations.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date.
- Prior patient care experience.
