About the Role

The Director of West Area Sales, Emergency Medicine will lead a team of Regional Sales Managers in developing and executing sales strategies to meet ambitious goals. This sales leader will create and communicate a compelling vision, driving energy and confidence within their teams.

Working closely with the Vice President of Sales, this director will ensure that Teleflex meets its annual national plans. Key responsibilities include building performance-based relationships with clinical and medical affairs leaders, partnering with marketing and product development, and analyzing business operations for improvement opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build high-performance teams by selecting, training, and motivating personnel.
  • Develop and empower the sales force capabilities to collaborate, innovate, and produce consistently superior results.
  • Provide guidance on pricing strategy based on evaluation of local economic conditions and purchasing practices.
  • Develop, monitor, and execute within annual OPEX plan sales expense budgets.

Requirements:

  • Self-directed and able to work independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to demonstrate confidence during public speaking presentations.
  • Strong problem-solving/analytical skills and proficiency with computer technology and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to operate within a matrix structure and prior experience working in a large corporate environment.

Specialized Skills:

Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year (depending on location and experience)
