Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiology Supervisor to join our team at University HealthCare Alliance. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our radiology department, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage a team of radiology staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care and departmental efficiency.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient flow, scheduling, and space utilization.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to analyze patient data and make recommendations for quality improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and Hazardous Waste Management.
  • Manage budgets, monitor financial reports, and reconcile discrepancies to ensure departmental financial stability.
  • Represent the radiology department at meetings and conferences, promoting best practices and sharing knowledge with colleagues.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in radiography preferred.
  • At least five years of experience in radiology, with at least one year of staff management experience.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
